How I Feel For No Reason ...

Y SO CEREAL? (serious)

You may be thinking, are those MC hammer pants? and the reason for me saying you may be thinking that is because I already had received comments of that sort and I seriously would love for not one more person to say this to me or else something terrible will occur... Im cereal about this. YES everyone, I stole them from MC Hammer himself... there harem pants geniuses. KIDDING KIDDING, don't take it to offense but I truly am loving this outfit. One day, after class I had all the time in the world so I figured I would use that time to do the one thing that I know how to do best. Spend money on much needed items. So, while strolling along 5th I decided to go into one of my favorite stores Zara and check out their knew merchandise. I don't know about anyone else, but I cant be shopping for sweaters, jackets, leather pants and boots while it is still 100 degrees outside, and that is what the store was stocked up on. I enjoyed looking at all the new items for this upcoming fall, but I was nowhere near trying them on and purchasing them just yet. This is when I came across some really dope, pleated, zippered harem pants and this great ballerina skull graphic tee. Perfect for transitioning from WAY TO HOT, to hot, to warm, to a little cooler, too still hot but comfortable enough to wear pants and a tee. LOVED this look together that I just had to buy them both. Considering I had about three other pairs of harem pants but in all different styles, I loved the light suede effect with the gold zipper down the side of your ankle on these exact pants. Now that you know the whole story, I paired the top and bottom with Sam Edelman sandals, Louis Vuitton clutch and some of my own personal gold jewels. Now... it was time for a lovely night in NYC.

Day Of Trying On

Hey, how are yah? Then again, I will never know. But to let you know, I am fine. Thanks, I went on a little adventure this past week trying on clothes that I want to buy, wasn't sure if I should, but really wanted to. Reason why, because Fall is approaching but summer is still here kicking my ass. While I could be inside dreaming about layers, layers, plaid, pants, layers and boots, I still have to worry about what's outside; heat heat and more HEAT. So, I stopped in Zara to see their new Fall apparel and got way too excited and started to snatch everything from the racks. This is how I wound up with this mash of an outfit. This was not planned but then it happened. I fell in love, and now I want Fall here now.

Caution : Took My Own Photos

Museum of the Moving Image

Yes, yes I do enjoy going to museums, thanks for asking and this one wasn't my first. My little brother, who is my main man, is overly obsessed with film and has been this way ever since he was 7. He is now 14 and is even more knowledgeable about film then he has ever been and it scares me. He knows stuff I don't even know and makes me watch movies all the way dated back to the 1900’s. Truthfully, it’s pretty damn cool because if it weren’t for him, I would never ever watch these movies, know directors and actors names and learn how film evolved. So cheers to him for being an awesome little bro. The whole point of this was to lead you to the reason why I went to the Museum of the Moving Image, and how interesting and fun it really was. If you’re ever in New York, you must take a trip to Queens and check it out! Being inspired with nothing that involved the museum, I don't know what made me pick this outfit out. I think it was because after I finished making my headscarf and wanted to finally wear it, I realized I have flats that matched it perfectly. BOOM.

^^___The boys in black (brother and friends) and myself making a flip book___^^
We took up the whole screen. Too fun

Baby Jesus

JUST KIDDING - there angels, I think

I have yet another story here to tell you about this tank. As you can see how uniquely sewn, beaded and strung it is, how couldn't it catch your attention? Well, it caught mine on the island of Saint Maarten. Yes, this beaut was designed on the beautiful Island of the Dutch and French. While on my two-week excursion scuba diving, snorkeling, “jet ski boating” (?) Whatever that device I rode on was called, partying, and of course shopping, I found this tank in the cute little French town. I greatly appreciated the fine unique sense of art, color, shapes and sizes that were plastered on the shirt in various spots that made no sense to me; but that was probably the whole point of this shirt. Clearly, I bought it and I lalalalove, fricken love it! Paired with the Saint Maarten tank is a green/ gold fish net Free People tank, white Gap jeans, a random bracelet and Zara Wedges.

Oh, there you are again baby jesus, I mean angel, I mean shirley temple. FYI, IDK WTF you are

Feeling Royal

Recently, I've been having this "blue" phase. Perhaps it's my new color or I should just accept the fact that I enjoy royal blue. Along with favoring this color, I have been discovering all sorts of blue accessories to correspond with my newfound shade. Such as my fathers chic Robert Graham fedora, David Yurman and Evil Eye neckwear, Ray Bans sunnies, Zara basic tank, and my very feminine Gap  lace bra. Practical, as they are chic, I am loving this combination.

Next to my new color fixation, comes my found love of my latest Joe’s Jeans. I steered away from ripped light denim ever since the beginning of high school, but noticeably they have returned. Adoring these washed boyfriend cut jeans and obsessing over the worn out anklets. You can either cuff them up, or keep them rolled down to catch the worn out effect. Whichever way they are styled, they still look damn sweet!

In addition comes the legendary leg & shoe picture.

50 Shades of Blue

Feeling hot hot hot !

Since yesterday was about a zillion degrees outside, what else would you wear in this heat wave we had in New York? I knew I was wearing close to nothing so I wouldn't sweat... but what I didn't know WAS THAT... walking from the house to the car was going to break a tremendous sweat. I'm talking about when you just finished going for a run and the sweat is dripping down your body. Wasn't aware this type of miracle could occur in about 10 steps and 10 seconds.

I did try to mentally prepare myself from leaving my air conditioned house, to actually having to walk out the house, to get into an air conditioned car. SO, with that in mind, I wanted to choose the lightest and most baring (non whore attempted) clothing I could possible put on my body. Oh and did I mention comfortable too, that its not sticking to you? According to my mother, I don't choose the right undergarments to wear with my clothing, little does she know I don't care (sorry ma)
and miiii likeyyyyy!!! At least my bum isn't hanging out...
