denimXgrey

Denim has been a huge go-to for me this winter, especially these JBrand ripped cropped jeans. You can wear them with a loose oversize button down shirt, slip on sneakers, and some great layering. (seen above & below) They also look great worn with boots, tees, a nice blouse or a sweatshirt...dress it up or down. I am loving cropped denim, they are easier to style - no tucking, cuffing, or rolling your jeans up for length!

city streets

Not lying when I said I have a thing for neutrals, even if they are a little dark and twisted or in this case ‘matchy-matchy’. This coat essentially has a black and brown zigzag pattern throughout with black leather trim. It blends well with my brown leather oxfords and fox fur pompom hat. Great getup for a gloomy day attire.

blending in

As cold as the weather is, I am loving winter. After a long, hot, blistering summer I am more then happy to be layering up in soft neutrals, wool, cashmere, hats, scarves and gloves. Currently, I am keen about everything and anything neutral and this setup tackles itself.

A Bit Of New

Do you want to opt out of your usual active wear brands and try something new? The Gap has some really great gym apparel that is trendy, colorful, lively, and comfortable.  From tanks, tees, capris, leggings, sports bras, hoodies and outerwear, it’s great to mix up your gym attire with a bit of new. I have on GapFit twist stripe capris and the heathered motion long sleeve tee, try it out.

Black/Grey Details

Details, Details, Details… got to love them even when they are so minimal, that's the best in my opinion! An additional new purchase is the Nike Tight Fit Capri and Nike Dry-Fit Knit with black trim detail throughout. You can never go wrong with too much black, grey or Nike apparel. On my feet I wore one of my ultimate favorite Nike Free Flyknits, I promise you they are just too comfy and go with about anything. Definitely a great outfit to get you through a long day and still make it to the gym!

Splash Of Color

I will forever be on an activewear kick. Just purchased these Victoria's Secret Sport leggings and I adore them! I never looked at or tried on VS Sport apparel, as I was in the store shopping I came upon the sport section and decided to give it a shot. These Knockout by Victoria’s Secret tights are extremely comfortable, light weight, and forms well to the body. Given that the design, color, and detail is something that I wouldn't normally choose, but change is good and once I put them on I knew I had to have them! With the leggings I wore a light grey AmericanApparel racerback tank and my Nike Free Forward Moc 2 N7.

Sporty Mix

One of my favorite things to do is mix and match my active wear. Since I have many different brands, it's fun to wear them together. These Nike tights (similar here) are one of my favorite go-to Fall/Winter apparel, I can honestly wear them with anything, especially when I am running around all day I either dress them up or down. They are very comfortable, light, and have breathable mesh patches throughout, including adjustable zip ankle closures at the back with reflective trim. For the top, I recently purchased these American Apparel racerback tanks in various colors, they are incredibly lightweight, soft, and a great transition from casual wear to gym attire. Underneath I have on an Under Armor sports bra, definitely one of my favorites due to the fact that it is so comfortable and works with you during your workout. Last but not least, on my feet I have on Reebok Crossfit Nano 4.0. They are seriously so comfortable, super light, and I can wear them straight to the gym!
