Nude Versace Medusa head sunglasses, how great are these? What’s better then abstract shaped cat-eye nude sunnies where you can wear them with anything!? When I first saw them, the color drew me in and the shape was so unique I instantly loved them. They are my new favorite and are very comfortable to wear throughout the day. 

Back to Basics

Happy 2014! I am loving this New Year already. Lots to look forward too with new beginnings and new clothes! Nothing like starting the year off with new shoes, and in my case new Nike sneakers. I have been waiting to purchase the Nike Free Flyknits for months and I finally got them and absolutely love them.  They are everything I have expected and are the most comfortable sneaker to date. Keeping it basic with my favorite leather pants from Top Shop, oversized button down shirt from Brandy Melville, my new Calvin Klein coat and my new Coach bag, which is the most beautiful item.

Electric Run

Months ago, while reading a running magazine, I came across this page that displayed a race that caught my attention, it was called The Electric Run. Wasn't quite sure what this race was about so I researched it and it happened to be a race that took place at night, and your course was lit up by strobe lights of all kinds. I thought it was really cool being able to run at night so I signed up. Also, this race has electro music playing throughout the whole course, how exciting is that, to be able to run and listen to music without any headphones on. Last weekend was the race and it was so much fun! You dress up in all exciting and bright colors, costumes, hats, and glasses and wear as much glowing and lit items as possible and run your thrilling 5k. Each section had a different theme, for it being light up lanterns hanging on trees, a tunnel lit while you run through it, a section with electro music playing while a fountain shoots water to the beat and so much more. It was a blast.

Fall Dress-ing

When the weather tricks you when heading into the colder seasons, what's better then throwing on a really cute dress to balance it out. Not to hot, not to cold, bare some leg and bring a sweater or jacket with you for the day. That's exactly what I have been doing since one day it is hot in NY and the next day it's cold, you can't win! I found this amazing Parker dress from Saks Fifth Ave, loving the bellbottom sleeves, open button top and grey/black pattern. On my feet I am wearing black dress socks with Steve Madden ankle booties and my favorite black leather jacket.

I am more then happy that Fall weather has finally approached us. Even though one day it was 90 degrees in New York and we were all dying, then three days later it was 70 degrees and we were all like bring it. If only the weather worked in ways where it could "transitionally" drop by possible 5 or 10 degrees every few weeks to get us ready for the more cooler weather. "Wishing". But, I am personally happy that it is cooler outside and summer has finally and hopefully made its way out until next year. Summer was amazing, but I love a good change. I am looking to bring you all great Fall items (clothing, bags, accessories, etc) that we can all work into our altering wardrobes. This is the time were we can all cozy up in great chunky and even light sweaters, jackets, leggings, jeans, sweats, sweatshirts, BEANIES, boots, SNEAKERS, scarves, sunnies, socks, gloves and so much more. Swaying away from bright colors to my personal favorite light, airy, warm and comfy Fall colors! This is so exciting to me and I can’t wait to show you what the cooler weather has for both you and I.
